Huibert Schallenberg was born in Delft on December 31, 1883 and deceased in The Hague on March 27, 1981

Living in Rustenburg a working-class neighborhood in the Hague,Schallenberg painted flowers and still lifes in naturalistic style. He was a botanical painter, who understood like no other to present the flora in a striking, naturalistic and very realistic way.
