James Hardaker 1901-91

James Hardaker (1901-1991)

known internationally for his distinctive bold and colourful style. Hardaker's work has been displayed at No. 10 Downing Street. He was a fellow of the International Institute of Arts and Letters. Thought to be one of Yorkshire's best known artists and certainly well loved in his home town of Bingley, West Yorkshire, James died aged 90 in 1991, leaving a huge legacy of work in homes and offices all over the world.
